NEET Paper Leak Case: CBI May Make Shivraj Motegaonkar’s Son Key Witness; He Received Papers 10 Days Before Exam
Pune, 28th May 2026: The NEET paper leak case, which triggered nationwide controversy, has taken another significant turn, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reportedly preparing to make the minor son of accused Shivraj Motegaonkar a key witness in the investigation.
According to reliable sources, Motegaonkar’s son, who appeared for the NEET examination on May 5, was recently questioned extensively by the CBI in Pune. Investigators believe his statement could provide crucial evidence to strengthen the case against the accused.
During the questioning, the student reportedly told investigators that he had received the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology question papers nearly ten days before the examination.
The alleged statement has further intensified suspicions that the paper leak racket was active well before the exam date. Sources also claimed that during the CBI investigation, Shivraj Motegaonkar admitted that his son had received access to the question papers prior to the examination.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the CBI regarding these developments. Investigating agencies suspect that the leaked paper may have been procured to help the student secure admission to a medical course.
The latest developments are expected to further escalate legal troubles for Motegaonkar as the investigation into the high-profile case continues.
