Elevating Education, Soaring Towards the Future: DYPIU unveils its 7th Floor
Pune, 16th June 2026: D. Y. Patil International University (DYPIU), Akurdi, Pune, marked another significant milestone in its journey of academic excellence and infrastructure development with the inauguration of its newly developed 7th Floor.
The facility was inaugurated by Shri Deepak Kumar Shrivastava, Chief General Manager & Zonal Manager, Punjab National Bank, Mumbai, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Under the aegis of Hon’ble Dr. D. Y. Patil, Founder President, D.Y. Patil Group, and the guidance of Hon’ble Dr. Sanjay D Patil, Chancellor DYPIU, the ceremony was held in the gracious presence of Hon. Shri Satej D. Patil, Vice-President, Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan; Shri Tejas S. Patil, Trustee, Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan; and Prof. Manish Bhalla, Vice Chancellor, D. Y. Patil International University.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of creating world-class academic infrastructure that fosters innovation, research, creativity, and holistic student development. The inauguration of the new floor reflects DYPIU’s continued commitment to providing a vibrant learning environment equipped with modern facilities for students, faculty members, and researchers.
The newly developed 7th Floor houses modern Computer Laboratories, a spacious and advanced Bioengineering Laboratory, and well-equipped classrooms with a seating capacity of 120 students each, creating an enhanced environment for experiential learning, research, innovation, and academic excellence.
