Deepak: A source of light program to be held on June 20th

Pune, 18th June 2026: Renowned Kathak dancer Sheetal Kolwalkar’s organization, Kathak Naad, is organizing a dance program called “Deepak – A Source of Light” on Saturday, 20th June, from 5 pm onwards at the MES Balshikshan Auditorium in Mayur Colony. The entry to the program is free and open to all, on a first-come, first-served basis. The program has been organized since the past 4 years with an objective of providing a platform for emerging artists and showcasing performances by renowned artists.

This year’s program will start with a solo Kathak performance by Srija Biswas of the Banaras Gharana, followed by a tabla performance by Pt Yogesh Samsi, accompanied by Yashwant Thitte (Harmonium), and will conclude with a vocal performance by Vidushi Arati Ankalikar, accompanied by Sagar Patokar (Tabla) and Abhinay Ravande (Harmonium).
