Fadnavis also directed the administration to expedite the biomining process of legacy waste at the Moshi garbage depot. He instructed officials to establish a separate and effective mechanism to immediately process the nearly 100 tonnes of fresh waste that accumulates daily without treatment, aiming to prevent further build-up at the site.

Present during the review were MLA Mahesh Landge, Mayor Ravi Landge, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner, the Municipal Commissioner, and other senior government and civic officials.

Meanwhile, rescue operations at the accident site continued under the guidance of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). To accelerate the mission, an advanced demolition excavator has been deployed to break unstable concrete sections of the damaged structure.

The heavy-duty machine is being used to stabilize the weakened portions of the building and create a safe access route for rescue personnel to enter the structure. Authorities said the operation is progressing continuously and at an accelerated pace.
