A finish we never expected: Sushant Singh Rajput no more

Mumbai, June 14, 2020: ‘Sushant’ means quiet and peaceful. The 34-year-old actor has died by suicide, and this event has created a stir. His last movie Chichhore, released last year, spread awareness against suicide.

Sushant was always a quiet person; his work spoke for him. Fans, celebrities, superstars have been tweeting about this continuously, and are expressing their grief.  The actor was found dead at his sixth-floor apartment in Bandra (West). The police have confirmed that he has died by suicide, but no ‘note’ was found from his residence.

He had put up an Instagram story last week when his ex-manager Disha Salian was found dead. “It’s such devastating news,” he wrote.

Also, his last post on Instagram was dedicated to the memory of his mother. “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops, unending dreams carving an arc of a smile And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two,” he captioned.

PM Modi Tweeted, “Sushant Singh Rajput…a bright young actor gone too soon. He excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many, and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti”.
