Aadhar card not mandatory for Shiv Bhojan : Chagan Bhujbal
Mumbai, Jan 22, 2020 – Stating that Aadhaar card is not mandatory for Shiv Bhojan or meals for Rs. 10 which is for poor and needy, Minister for food and civil supplies Chagan Bhujbal on Wednesday said that the it would be launched on January 26th on first come first serve basis.
Bhujbal informed that under this scheme, at least one center would be started at every district head quarter and Municipal Corporation area on a pilot basis at crowded places. He told that these centers would remain open between 12 and 2 pm and responsibility of providing adequate space for sitting has to be provided by the the person who runs the center.
Minister informed that the owner needs to have alternative space owned by him and the Center should have adequate space for 25 persons at a time for having their meal. He told that one center would provide meal for minimum 75 and maximum 150 persons. He informed that the meals can not be taken outside or the outside food would be allowed at this center. Bhujbal informed that the employees of the center are prohibited from availing the concessional rate lunch.
