Pune, 10th May 2025: Poetry and storytelling are deeply intertwined—while poetry distills emotion into rhythm and verse, storytelling brings it alive through characters and narrative. Together, they create a rich tapestry of expression that resonates across hearts and minds.

कविताKAFE, in association with Monalisa Kalagram, is back once again with an evocative celebration of these art forms. The event, titled Abhivyakti, will take place at Monalisa Kalagram, Koregaon Park, on May 18, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Abhivyakti will feature a vibrant gathering of Pune-based poets, storytellers, artists, and art lovers. Performers include Ragini More, Akash Kumbhar, Keshava Shukla, Om Chinmay Barve, Vaibhav Malpani, Avikal, Devika Nadig, Anita Gupta, Rahul Joshi, Surbhi Jain, Shekhar Jha, and many more. The event will also include a special performance by flautist Avikal and djembe artist Sagar.

“Abhivyakti means expression—and every artist deserves a space where their voice is truly seen and heard. It’s a celebration of creative freedom, honesty, and courage. The serene, art-filled surroundings of Monalisa Kalagram offer the perfect backdrop—calm and inspiring, they elevate every poem and story. In short, it’s an ideal venue for true expression,” said Garima Mishra, the founder of कविताKAFE.

Mishra, a passionate writer-poet and former journalist, founded कविताKAFE with the aim of creating a warm, inclusive space for poetry lovers to share, listen, and connect through words. What began as a simple idea has grown into a thriving community celebrating the beauty of expression in all its forms.

Having hosted memorable events like Aarambh, Baatcheet, Kavya-Katha, and Suno-Sunao, Abhivyakti, Mishra stresses, aspires to be yet another soulful milestone.
