Accelerate the railway work of Baramati Phaltan – Lonand : Ajit Pawar

Mumbai 22.Jan.2020: – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar directed to speed up the work of 63 km long railway line of Baramati Phaltan – Lonand.

He was speaking in a meeting organized to review the work at ministry.  MP Supriya Sule, Pune Collector Nawal Kishore Ram, Senior Railway Officers were present on the occasion.

Out of the total 63 kilometers Lonand Baramati Phaltan railway route about 37 kilometer track goes from Baramati Taluka. Work of land acquisition, funds available for land acquisition etc. were reviewed in the meeting. In this regard, Rs. 329 crore is required for land acquisition, out of that Rs. 115 crore has been received.

Mr. Pawar further stated that complete the remaining land acquisition with coordination and reconciliation as soon as possible.
