Accident On Mumbai- Pune Expressway, One Person Dies
Khopoli, 8th September 2022: In a horrific accident involving a container and an Ertiga car near km 39/800 on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, an individual lost his life. The accident occurred today around 3.45 pm.
The deceased was identified as Parshuram Kundlik Andhale (Age 24, Resident of Limbodi, taluka Ashti, District Beed). According to the information received, container no. MH 43 Y 5841 was on a steep descent when its brakes failed. Due to this, the driver lost control of the car and the Ertiga car went in front of the container.
The accident occurred after car MH 43 BU 2145 was hit from behind. As the container overturned on the side of the road, the driver jumped out of the vehicle. Unfortunately, he was hit by the same vehicle and died on the spot. After receiving information about the accident, Borghat Police, IRB Patrolling, Dedoot System, Lokmanya Medical Service, and Khopoli Police Station staff immediately rushed to the spot and took care of the accident victim.
