Accident On Pune-Mumbai Expressway, One Dead And One Injured
Pune 30th Sept 2023: In a tragic accident reported on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway on Saturday evening, a person has died while one was injured. The accident was reported at around 8:52 pm on Mumbai lane.
According to officials, a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus was hit by a container from behind causing this accident. A conductor of the bus identified as Shivraj Mali, s resident of Dharashiv district had sustained serious injuries in the accident and was later declared dead by the doctors. The container driver who was stuck inside the cabin was rescued by the rescue teams and was taken to MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai for treatment.
According to officials, the passengers travelling in the bus are safe and nobody sustained any serious injuries.
