Adding New Names in Ration Card Made Easy; Check Out The Steps
Pune,13th January 2022: Ration Cards provide subsidised rations to needy households around the country. The state government creates and distributes ration cards. It is linked to the Aadhaar card, which allows a family member to get rations by simply placing his thumb on the card.
With the introduction of the ration card, the government has now made it possible to obtain rations wherever in the country. Ration cards are utilised by the government to provide various advantages to the impoverished. People are often concerned about the issue of ration card updates. They find it difficult to add new names to a ration card especially of children.
Please be aware that any changes to your ration card should be made through the national food security portal. Then you can add new unique members to the ration card here. To insert the names of the children on the ration card, follow the steps given below.
1. Go to your state’s official food supply website.
2. To update your ID, you must first create an ID. After that, you’ll be able to add a new member.
3. When you click it, a form will appear in front of you. You can now change your family information.
4. Along with the form, a soft copy of the document should be uploaded. You will receive a registration number after submitting the form.
5. From the site, you can trace the form. The documents and the form are then double-checked.
6. After the paperwork is approved, the ration card will be mailed to your address.
