AFCAT 2021 Notification: Application For Air Force Common Admission Test Will Start From June 1

New Delhi, 29th May 2021: Alert for the candidates who are preparing for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to be conducted every year by the Indian Air Force. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT batch 02/2021) conducted twice a year by Indian Air Force (IAF) for recruitment as Commissioned Officer in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branch. The short notification for, as per the media reports, has been released.

According to the notification, the Air Force Joint Entrance Examination 2021 will be conducted for a total of 334 vacancies of courses starting in July 2022.

Candidates desirous of applying for AFCAT batch 02/2021 will be able to apply from the Air Force recruitment through the online application form to be made available on the portal, careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT batch 02/2021 the application process is to begin from June 1 and candidates will be able to submit their AFCAT batch 02/2021 application online by June 30, 2021.

Candidates should note that at the time of online application, they will also have to submit an application fee of Rs 250, which can be paid through online means. However, candidates applying under NCC Special Entry and Metrology Entry will not have to deposit the application fee.

As per AFCAT batch 02/2021 short notice by Indian Air Force, candidates who are between 20 years to 24 years of age can apply on 1 July 2022, ie they were born between 2 July 1998 to 1 July 2002. At the same time, the age limit for AFCAT duty branch is 20 to 26 years. Along with the age limit, candidates are also required to fulfil the conditions of educational qualification and physical criteria as prescribed by the Flying or Gross Duty Branch.
