Pune, 22nd September 2021: As the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams and Maharashtra ‘Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) dates clashed, the TET has been postponed and the exam will be held on October 31, informed State Examination Council Commissioner Tukaram Supe.

UPSC has planned a written test on October 10. The TET was to also be held on the same day. Students applying for both of these exams would be at a disadvantage as they might lose the chance to appear for another exam. Considering this, the TET has been postponed.

Candidates have been given a period from 14th to 31st October to get the online print of the hall ticket for TET.

Supe also clarified in the revised schedule of TET that ‘Paper-I’ will be held from 10.30 am to 1 pm, while ‘Paper-II’ will be held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
