Air Asia Flight From Bhubaneswar To Pune Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Hit
Bhubaneswar, 3rd March 2023: An Air Asia flight, from Bhubaneswar (Odisha) to Pune (Maharashtra), made an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar when a bird collided with the plane after take off. All passengers and crew are safe.
The aircraft landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. According to news agency ANI, airport officials have said that any possible damage to the aircraft is being assessed.
In a statement, Air Asia Airlines noted, “After a bird hit, the aircraft was brought back to Bhubaneswar for a detailed examination. We are serving passengers and taking steps to minimize the impact of this incident on other scheduled flights.”
