Aishwarya Rai Shared Poster Of Her Film Ponniyin Selvan
Mumbai, 20th July 2021: Aishwarya Rai has been away from films for a long time. The actress is going to return with Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. The film was awaited for a long time.
This big budget film is a fantasy drama. Sharing the new poster of the film from her Instagram account, Aishwarya wrote – ‘Golden era is coming in life, Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan PS1’.
The film will be released in two parts. Its first part will come in the year 2022. Apart from Aishwarya Rai, it stars actor Vikram in the lead role. The two have previously worked together in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. Apart from these, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha Krishnan and Mohan Babu are in important roles. AR Rahman is the music composer of the film. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions and Mani Ratnam.
‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s book of the same name.
This is the first time that Aishwarya has shared the poster of the film with her social media account. There is an overwhelming response from the fans. Aishwarya was last seen in the 2018 film Fanney Khan. It starred Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles with her.
