Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ Brings Back The Laughter: Teaser Coming Soon
Mumbai, 3rd July 2023: Actor Akshay Kumar has delighted his fans with a new update about his upcoming comedy-drama film ‘OMG 2’. Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared a fresh poster and teaser announcement. In the poster, Akshay captivates the viewer with his striking pose, looking upwards, while sporting ash on his forehead, a beautiful bead necklace gracing his neck, and cascading dreadlocks that extend down to his knees.
Accompanying the poster, Akshay wrote, “In just a few days… #OMG2 hits theatres on August 11. Teaser Drops Soon.” The release of the poster prompted an outpouring of comments from the actor’s ardent followers. One user expressed, “I am eagerly awaiting this movie,” while another exclaimed, “The Khiladi is back!” Someone even speculated, “Clash with Gadar 2?”
Directed by Amit Rai, ‘Oh My God 2’ is a much-anticipated sequel to the original film of the same name, which featured the talented duo of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in leading roles. In the original film, Akshay portrayed the character of Lord Krishna. Alongside Akshay, the movie features Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.
‘OMG 2’ is set to face a major Bollywood clash with Sunny Deol’s much-anticipated sequel ‘Gadar 2’. Additionally, Akshay Kumar has an upcoming untitled Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’, slated for release on September 1. Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal play pivotal roles in this film as well. Furthermore, Akshay has the action thriller ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff, scheduled to hit theatres on Eid 2024. Fans can also look forward to his reunion with Riteish Deshmukh in the fifth instalment of the popular comedy franchise ‘Housefull’.
