New Delhi, 26th May 2023: The cancellation of flights by Go First Airlines, which is presently going through insolvency resolution proceedings, has been extended until May 28. Operational considerations initially caused the airline to halt operations until May 25, but the extra delay was justified by citing financial issues. Despite the difficulties, Go First expressed confidence that reservations will resume soon.

The airline has been asked to reimburse customers affected by the flight cancellations, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will also carry out an audit to determine how well-equipped Go First is to resume operations.

Go First has extended the suspension of its flying operations until May 28 due to ongoing financial difficulties. Operational problems caused the original suspension until May 25, which has now been further extended. Despite the continued difficulties, the airline is optimistic that bookings will resume soon, according to a report by India Today.

The DGCA has ordered Go First to compensate customers who purchased tickets for the cancelled flights in response to the flight cancellations. The airline has temporarily stopped selling tickets until May 15, underscoring the difficulties it will encounter in returning to regular operations.
