Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for COVID-19, admitted in hospital
Mumbai, 11 July 2020: Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been taken to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai after he tested positive for Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) today.
“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”, the 77-year-old Bollywood actor tweeted.
According to municipal corporation officials, the contact tracing of people who met the actor recently has begun. The actor himself has appealed to people who met him in the last 10 days to get themselves tested for COVID19.
