Animal Welfare Board Wishes To Mark 14th February As Cow Hug Day
Pune, 9th February 2023: According to the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI), 14th February, widely celebrated as Valentine’s Day, must be marked as Cow Hug Day. The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, Government of India, has been urged to observe the same.
According to AWBI’s letter to the authorities, hugging a cow will enrich emotional life because of how important cows are. As a result, everyone who appreciates cows should observe 14th February as Cow Hug Day to recognise the significance of cows and their contribution to a happy, good existence.
