Ankush Malhotra, Renowned Pune Media Sales Professional Passes Away at 44

Pune, 21st April 2024: Ankush Malhotra, a well-known media sales professional , passed away on the night of April 20th in Pune. His cremation is scheduled to take place this afternoon at the Dhobi Ghaat Crematorium in Pune. Ankush is survived by his father, wife, and daughter.
Ankush, who was 44, collapsed due to a cardiac arrest while having dinner with friends yesterday late evening. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but, unfortunately, it was too late.
On professional front, Ankush’s involvement with the Pune Comedy Festival from its inception as a media relation professional made huge impact in promoting the events of similar genre across entertainment industry, in Pune. An alumnus of Symbiosis for his bachelor’s and the International School of Mass & Media for his master’s, Ankush had an illustrious career in media sales spanning 20 years. He worked with several renowned media brands, including the Times Group, Pune Times Mirror, Disney Star, Radio One, and Radio Mirchi. In his final professional role, he was leading his entrepreneurial journey at Four Poles. Some of Ankush’s former colleagues, while speaking to Punekar News, expressed their shock at this news.
Ankush Malhotra’s death has left a deep void in Pune media industry, and his contributions will always be remembered. The cause of his death, as confirmed by sources, was a sudden cardiac arrest. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the industry he served with dedication and excellence.
