Announcement of ‘Adarsh Award’ by Chandu Borde Foundation
Pune, 16 November 2022: CHANDU BORDE FOUNDATION(CBF) – This is a section 8 registered company of the Companies Act 2013 Created to do charitable work for betterment of the society.
Purpose & Objective – Mr.Chandu Borde , has been a Test cricketeer who played for India in the 50-60’s, his contribution to the game and society has been widely recognized both nationally and internationally. He has been bestowed with Padma Bhushan, Padma Shree, Arjun award, C K Nayudu awardby BCCI amongst many other international, national, and state awards for his contribution. Mr. Borde wishes to do more for the society’s betterment thus his family and friends have established CBF, the goal and objective of this foundation would be to emerge as an organization for talent-based rewards and support individuals/bodies in the field of sports, culture, art etc
Program – Based on the above objective CBF will be rewarding eminent personalities from below mentioned fields with an ADARSH AWARD (cheque of Rs 25000/- shawl, memento) Further to encourage youngsters and help them financially to meet their requirements to do better in any sports a onetime Scholarship of Rs 10,000/- each will be presented to few budding young
