Anupam Kher Praise The Bravery And Dedication Of The Police Force During The Pandemic

Mumbai, 15th December 2020:  Anupam Kher lauds the police force for their eminent role in curbing the cases of COVID-19 in conversation with Senior Police Inspector Pandharinath Shankar Wavhal at Juhu Police Station, Mumbai, today. Highlighting their acts of courage, the actor shared his thoughts on the tough role the police force undertook during the lockdown.

 

In his conversation with Senior Police Inspector Pandharinath Shankar Wavhal, Anupam Kher commended their dedication towards their work and appreciated their remarkable effort in the fight against COVID-19. He also spoke about the strategies adopted by the force in the initial days of the pandemic and the approach they will be taking to sustain the situation. The actor has expressed his gratitude towards the police force, medical fraternity and all the institutions that have been at the forefront of the pandemic, in his latest book-Your Best Day Is Today!

 

Speaking about the exemplary work done by the Police force, Anupam Kher said, “In a country like India with a population of more than a billion, it becomes tedious to implement and maintain law and order. Hats off to our police force who has always been on their feet to provide their services whenever citizens or the nation needed it. They have worked tirelessly, giving their best since the beginning of the pandemic. From holding curfews, restricting major movement across the state to providing help to those in need, they have been keeping us safe while putting themselves on the line.”

 

Commenting on the current COVID-19 scenario in India, Senior Police Inspector Pandharinath Shankar Wavhal said, “When I heard that Anupam kher wanted to extend his regards and wanted to come to the police station, I suggested my seniors that Anupam Kher  could perhaps meet the higher-level officers and commissioners. I was told that Anupam Kher wanted to meet the staff who have done the actual ground work, who have worked day and night and done multiple shifts during the period of pandemic, they are the real heroes.
