ARAI to host 3-days Exhibition on Road Safety

Pune, December 08: ARAI has been transforming from a Test House to a globally recognised R&D house through its long journey of past 5 decades since its inception. Now, as a part of its Golden Jubilee Celebration, ARAI is hosting multiple events during the whole year. With the active participation of automotive and allied industry and its associates, ARAI is organising a 3-day exhibition based on the road safety aspects.

This exhibition is organised under the slogans of ‘We and our Vehicles’. The exhibition will highlight the safety measures that needs to be taken by everyone present on the road. It will be inaugurated on Monday, December 12th, at 11:00 am by Anil Shirole, Member of Parliament, in the august presence of Abhay Damle, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Govt. of India and Kunal Kumar, Municipal Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation.  The exhibition will commence from December 12th to December 14th, from 11:00am to 08:00pm at Raja Ravi Verma Art Gallery, Ghole Road.  The entry to visit this exhibition will be free for all.

This exhibition will put more emphasis on the road safety which is the need of the hour in today’s day- to-day life. This 3-day exhibition will showcase around 150 cartoons created by renowned Cartoonist Mangesh Tendulkar. The cartoons will exemplify different aspects of road safety and environment to protect precious human life by averting road accidents.
