Army Chief General Manoj Pande To Inaugurate Strategic Dialogue Conference on China’s Rise At Pune University
Pune, 25th March 2023: The Centre for China Analysis and Strategy, New Delhi, and Department of Defence and Strategic Studies at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), is set to organize a Strategic Dialogue Conference on China’s Rise and its Global Implications.
Army Chief General Manoj Pande will inaugurate the conference, which will take place on March 27th and 28th at the Saint Dnyaneshwar Auditorium of SPPU, informed Dr Vijay Khare, the Head of the Department of Defence and Strategy.
This is the second year that the conference is being held, and it will cover the political, economic, and cultural implications of China’s growing global expansion.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr Karbhari Kale, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Sanjeev Sonawane, former Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr Nitin Karamalkar, former Vice-Chancellor Vasudev Gade, Chairman of the Center for China Analysis and Strategy Jaydev Ranade, and other dignitaries will be present.
Several notable individuals will guide various sessions of the conference, including Former Ambassador Gautam Bambawale, Prof Dilip Mohite, Dr Shrikanth Paranjpe, Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale, Jim Wilson of the US Embassy, Dr Akimotodaisuke of the Indo Pacific Centre for Strategic Studies in Tokyo, Prof Roger Liu, Air Marshal SS Soman, Dr Arvind Kumar, Sheshadri Chari, Former Ambassador of Nepal Vijay Kant Kara, Namrata Hasija of the Center for China Analysis, Dr Arun Dalvi, and Lt Gen Sudarshan Hasbanis.
