Pune: Four Foreign Women Working Without Valid Visas In Spa Detained by FRO, Owner Booked

Kondhwa, 25th March 2023: A massage parlor in Kondhwa area was raided by the foreign registration office (FRO) of the special branch, Pune city police on Friday. The FRO discovered that four foreign women, who had come to India on business visas, were working in the spa without valid work visas, in violation of visa rules.

Consequently, the FRO detained the women, who have since been held at the Government Women’s Correctional Home at Mundhwa. The women will soon be deported to their home countries, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Branch) R Raja.

Investigations revealed that the spa’s owner and manager were aware of the women’s illegal status and had still employed them. A case has been registered against them.
