Arson Attack in Pune Society: Bike and Car Set Ablaze, Investigation Underway
Sinhgad Road, 9th June 2023: An alarming incident of vehicles being set on fire has come to light in the Vadgaon Khurd area of Pune on Sinhgad Road. Mahendra Pradeep Bhirud, a resident of Sinhgad Road, has lodged a complaint at the Sinhgad Road Police Station regarding the incident.
Around 1.30 am on June 8 (Thursday), unidentified individuals entered Miami Society in Vadgaon Khurd and doused a bike and a car with an inflammable substance. They subsequently ignited the vehicles and swiftly fled the scene. Alert residents immediately notified both the police and the fire brigade about the incident. Firefighters quickly arrived at the location and brought the fire under control.
The absconding culprits are currently being pursued by the police, who have seized the CCTV footage from the society premises to aid their investigation. The motive behind the arson attack remains unknown at this stage.
