Pune, 4th September 2022: India is playing Pakistan today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the Super-Four match 2 of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022.

 

Unlike the last encounter, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. India scored 181/7 in 20 overs.

 

Rohit Sharma and K.L. Rahul gave a promising start to the team. They put a 54-run opening stand before the former succumbed to Haris Rauf. Not much later KL Rahul fell prey to Shadab Khan after he was caught out by Nawab. Pant and Kohli stitched a 35-run partnership off 24 balls before Pant got caught out by Asif Ali on Shadab Khan’s delivery.

 

Hardik Pandya the star of the last Indo-Pak encounter got out on a duck after being caught by Mohammad Nawaz. Mohammad Rizwan got himself injured after trying to block a ball from Hasnain. Virat Kohli scored his 2nd consecutive half-century in 36 balls with a six. Hooda was dismissed by Naseem Shah after a catch by Nawaz. Virat Kohli stayed till the last over being run out at the score of 60 in 44 balls. Ravi Bishnoi came in and hit two fours powering India to a score of 181 at the loss of 7 wickets at end of 20 overs.
