ATM Card Cloning: Rs 58,000 Withdrawn From Two Accounts Using Cloned Debit Cards, Hinjawadi Police Register FIR
Hinjawadi, 26 February 2021: A woman was cheated of Rs 38,000, and another man of Rs 30,000, through duplicate ATM cards in Hinjawadi. A case has been registered against unidentified persons at the Hinjawadi police station.
Chitra Mohan (48), a resident of Hinjawadi Phase III, has lodged a complaint of fraud. According to police, an unidentified person withdrew Rs 38,000 from Chitra’s Indian Bank account using her debit card.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Rs. 33,000 were withdrawn from a State Bank of India account which belonged to Mahesh Shamsunder Sharma (33).
The Hinjawadi police station has begun an investigation to nab the culprit soon.
