We are looking forward to conducting more workshops for orphanages and old age homes”, says student activities incharge Prof. Dr.  (Mrs) Aanchal Moolchandani.

Atmabodh in VIT had been started in year 2007 with the intention of imparting computer literacy to under privileged people, women, senior citizens, NGOS ,etc to make them self reliant with knowledge of computer and internet in  this computer era. Since then, every year this program is being organized twice a year targeting different sections.

“We started this program with 30 students of Eklavya Balshikshan and Arogya Nyasa (EN).  After the first successful workshop, we decided to target a larger group and we organized workshop for 800 children from Municipal and Government schools. We are thankful to the Mahalaxmi Temple for sponsoring this event. We are also thankful to our Honorable Trustees Shri Bharatji  Agarwal, Shri Rajkumarji Agarwal, Shri B B Lohiyaji and Director, Prof. Dr. R M Jalnekar for their support and making this endevaour a success”, she adds.
