Pune, 25th July 2022: Autorickshaw passengers will now be directly affected by the CNG price hike. In view of the increase in fuel prices, the hike in rickshaw fares has been approved in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad city and the district.

Accordingly, the rickshaw passenger will have to pay an additional fare of Rs two for the first one and a half kilometre stage, and Rs one for every kilometre thereafter. It was decided in the meeting of the Pune Regional Transport Authority that this fare increase will be implemented from August 1.
