Baner: FIR registered against 6 persons for operating spa

Pune, June 1, 2020: A case has been registered against six persons for operating an unlicensed spa centre at Ganraj Chowk in Baner. Due to Coronavirus outbreak lockdown, spa and many other establishments are not allowed to open.

 

The FIR has been registered with Chatushrungi police station against four women and Ashok Shankar Jadhav (29) of Ambegaon Pathar and Jitendra Babasaheb Nandire (31) of Kalewadi). Police constable Tejas Ramesh Chopde has lodged a complaint in this regard.

 

According to police, Jadhav has an ayurvedic spa centre at Kalamkar Complex, Ganraj Chowk, Baner Road. All the establishments have been closed due to lockdown as per the government order. Despite this, the spa centre at Ganraj Chowk was being operated on Saturday evening. They did not have permission to start a spa. No one was found wearing a face mask at the scene. As a result, six people were charged.
