Bank Holiday Update: Banks Open on August 30, Closed on August 31; Check September Holiday List
New Delhi, 20th August 2025: According to the official holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all private and government banks in India will remain open on Saturday, August 30, 2025, as it is the fifth Saturday of the month. RBI guidelines state that banks typically operate on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays.
However, banks will remain closed on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Customers planning to visit bank branches are advised to keep these dates in mind.
