BEL’s Pune Unit Welcomes Raksha Rajya Mantri for Showcase of Cutting-Edge Defence Technologies
Pune, 12th August 2023: Raksha Rajya Mantri Ajay Bhatt visited the Pune Unit of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) today to gain a firsthand understanding of the Unit’s expertise in Laser Systems, Electronic Fuzes & Ammunition, Energy Storage Products, and Combat Systems.
During his visit, the esteemed guest received a comprehensive presentation showcasing BEL’s extensive range of products and capabilities in both defence and non-defence sectors. Bhatt was led on a tour of the factory, where he was introduced to cutting-edge facilities dedicated to the production of Electronic Fuzes for Artillery Guns, advanced Laser Products (including Directed Energy Weapon Systems, Laser Target Designators, and Range Finders, as well as Fiber Optic Gyro Based Sensors), Li-Ion Cell manufacturing, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Systems, both tracked and wheeled.
Accompanying the Raksha Rajya Mantri during this insightful visit were Bhanu Prakash Srivastava, CMD of BEL, and Shri G S N Murthy, GM (BEL-Pune).
