Bentley Institute collaborates with JSPM Group of Institutes to open BIM Advancement Laboratory in Pune

Pune 23 June 2017 : Bentley Institute today collaborated with JSPM Group of Institutes to open BIM Advancement Laboratory in Pune at Tathawade campus . The Centre will foster BIM engineering knowledge among students & educators. Bentley Institute brings its experience and BIM Best practices from BIM Advancement Academies from all over the world such as CrossRail BIM Advancement Academy in London.

Vinayak Trivedi, Vice President & Global Head Bentley Institute, Dr. Nitin R. Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor, SP Pune University, Binish Parekh, Vice president, ARK Infosolutions, R. S Joshi, Director Planning & Development JSPM group, Dr. R. K Jain, Principal, RSCOE , Dr PP Vitkar Director Tathawade Campus were present at the inauguration. The laboratory will be useful for students of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. R. K Jain, Principal, RSCOE said that more than 100 teachers have been trained over three days on these softwares at BIM Advancement Laboratory   . This will enable the students to work on different tools and software related to infrastructure sector . The laboratory will also be open to past students of the college .

The team of visionaries who have brought The Bentley BIM Lab to JSPM comprises Dr. RS JOSHI, Director – Planning & development, JSPM group and from the group institute Rajarshi Shahu college of Engineering – Prof. SL Bhilare – Campus Director, Dr. RK JAIN – Principal, Prof. (Mrs.) RA Dubal – HOD Civil Engineering and Mr. SP Rao Borde, Training & Placement Officer. This team jointly said they were delighted and guided students that students should get rid of inertia of learning and accepting new things and innovative changes around them. These technologies and processes implemented at their institute will immensely benefit the students and will create a road to success for students in and around Pune.
