Bhayyu ji Maharaj commits suicide

Indore, Madhya Pradesh – Bhaiyyu ji Maharaj, a self styled spiritual leader, allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in Indore on Tuesday.

Police suspect that Maharaj, whose real name is Uday Singh Deshmukh, shot himself over “domestic issues”. He was taken to Bombay hospital in Indore.

He was known for his links with influential politicians and businessmen. Maharaj was popular in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
