Bhosari: Man Sets Watchman On Fire For Stopping To Urinate On BMW

Pimpri Chinchwad, November 18, 2020: In a shameful incident, a rickshaw driver allegedly tried to set a security guard on fire for stopping him from urinating on a BMW car. The security guard has suffered 20 percent burns and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The incident took place in the Bhosari MIDC area. The accused rickshaw puller has been arrested by the police.

 

The accused has been identified as Mahendra Balu Kadam (31). While the injured security guard is identified as Shankar Bhagwan Waifalkar (41). The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, and a case was registered with the police late last night.

 

According to police, Waifalkar is a security guard and was on duty at the company’s gate. At that time, the accused rickshaw puller Mahendra Balu was urinating on the BMW car of the company owner near gate.

 

Shankar hesitated and forbade him to urinate. There was a minor argument between them, and the accused left.

 

However, rickshaw puller Kadam was angry with Shankar. Around 4.30 pm, he returned back and poured petrol from a bottle on Shankar’s body and tried to burn him alive. Shankar was critically injured and has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

 

The accused, Mahendra Balu Kadam, has been arrested by the police, and further investigation is going on.
