Schools In Maharashtra Getting Readied To Greet Students From Monday

Pune, November 18, 2020: Additional chief secretary (education) Vandana Krishna has directed the education director to ensure that all the preparations are done before the students join back the schools. In the directives, Krishna mentioned that the schools must be sanitized thoroughly, should have a thermal gun and sanitizers.

 

It also mentioned that the RTPCR test of all the teachers should be conducted free of cost from the government’s designated COVID centres.

 

Meanwhile, according to the State Government’s notification the schools in the state will be re-opened from Monday for class 9th to 12th.

 

Admissions to class 11 in limbo
State government has yet not been able to find a solution after Supreme Court postponed the hearing of Maratha reservation. Thus, the parents and students are awaiting a government decision as class 11 has yet not been started.
