New Delhi, 10th January 2024: In a significant update for UGC NET candidates eagerly awaiting their results, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification regarding the release of UGC NET December 2023 results. Contrary to the initially scheduled date of January 10, 2024, the NTA has announced that the results will now be declared on January 17, 2024.

The delay in the result declaration is attributed to the re-conduction of the exam for some students in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh due to the impact of the Michong Cyclone, a natural disaster that affected various parts of the country.

To check the UGC NET December 2023 Result, candidates are advised to follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
2. Look for the active result link on the homepage once it is released and click on it.
3. Fill in the required login details, including application number, date of birth, and security pin, on the new page and submit.
4. Once the information is submitted, the result will appear on the screen, allowing candidates to download and print it for future reference.

The UGC NET December 2023 examination covered 83 subjects and took place in 292 cities across the country. A total of 9,45,918 candidates participated in the exam, all anxiously awaiting the release of their results.
