Bihar: Five Youth Gangrape Class 10th Girl Returning From Coaching Class In Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur, 7 January 2021: Five youth gangraped a class 10th student returning home from coaching at gunpoint. The incident took place on Monday evening in Pipri-Sahadullapur road under Sakra police station. The case was filed after three days due to police negligence.

The youths abducted the girl returning home from coaching. The incident took place in the shabby room of the petrol pump at Sujawalpur. The victim managed to escape through the window and reached National Highway. The matter reached the Women’s Police Station after three days of the incident. Earlier, the family had filed the complaint at the Sakra police station.

The family also caught one of the accused and handed it over to the police on the next day of the incident. However, the police did not take the matter seriously and reprimanded the family. An audio file of the incident has been handed over to the police. The victim reached the women’s police station after the forty-eight hours of the incident due to the evasion and negligence of the Sakra police. The family filed the complaint, and the case has been registered under the POCSO act.

A case has been registered against Mohammad Izhar, Aditya Jha, and three unknowns. Mohammad Izhar had been caught by the family and was handed over to the police. Police will present him in a special court on Thursday. The medical report of the victim is yet to come.

DSP (Eastern) Manoj Pandey said that the one accused has been arrested, and the other accused are being searched. Women Police is carrying out a further investigation.
