BJP Officebearer in Pune Calls Malegaon Blast Accused a Modern-Day Bhagat Singh

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 6th August 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Pimpri Chinchwad City Vice President Shekhar Chinchwade has put up a controversial banner congratulating Samir Kulkarni, one of the co-accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case. Recently, an NIA court acquitted all the accused.

Calling Kulkarni a “Hindu warrior,” Chinchwade praised him as a self-respecting man who did not bow to police pressure, donated blood 27 times while in jail, and argued his own case in the NIA court. He also referred to Kulkarni as a modern-day Bhagat Singh.
