Pune, 13th November 2021: Attempts are being made to ignite the atmosphere in some parts of Maharashtra including Amravati, Nanded, and Malegaon in response to the incident in Tripura. Vidhan Sabha elections are coming up soon in five states, including Uttar Pradesh. The BJP’s usual ploy is to ignite riots and take advantage of them in the elections. That is why the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is conspiring to ignite riots in Maharashtra and fuel its politics in Uttar Pradesh over the Tripura incident, said Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole.

He has appealed to the people of the state not to fall prey to this conspiracy and not to believe in rumors.

Strongly condemning the violent incidents that took place in some areas including Amravati in the last two days, Nana Patole said that the government of Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra has been stable for two years and BJP tried hard to destabilize this government but they did not succeed. All sorts of activities were tried to bring down the government by spreading unrest in Maharashtra. There is intense discontent against the Bharatiya Janata Party across the country over inflation, unemployment, declining economy, Chinese infiltration, and farmers’ issues. Such a conspiracy is being hatched by the BJP to divert the attention of the people from this main issue. The government should take action against those who commit acts of violence and spread rumors.

It is the history of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to create a rift between the two sections of the society and politicize its politics. They cannot face the onslaught of the people on the main issues of the country. There is huge dissatisfaction among the people against BJP and Modi government.

The BJP’s plan is to polarize the vote by inciting riots so that the blow of this discontent does not fall in the forthcoming Assembly elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh. Patole has appealed to the people of Maharashtra not to fall prey to the conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and keep peace in the state.
