Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Toofan’ has been accused of promoting love jihad indirectly through this film. Apart from this, Mrunal Thakur has an important role. Mrunal Thakur is playing the role of Dr Ananya in the film. The film Toofan is scheduled to release on July 16 on Amazon Prime Video. The film is based on boxing.

Farhan Akhtar has worked hard for this film. In this film, he is playing the role of Aziz Ali aka Ajju Bhai who is a goon and later becomes a national level boxer. This is his second film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. They previously worked together in the 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Apart from them, Mrunal Thakur is playing the role of Dr Ananya in this film. Paresh Rawal will be seen as Nana Prabhu in the film.
