BREAKING NEWS: Lockdown extended till June 30, religious places, malls, hotels will open

New Delhi, May 30, 2020: Lockdown 5.0 has been announced in the country. Now it will apply from June 1 to June 30. Religious places, restaurants, hotels, shopping malls will open with conditions. The curfew will continue from 9 pm to 5 am. This is being called unlock phase 1.

 

According to Ministry of Home Affairs, within Containment Zones, #Lockdown restrictions to continue till 30.06.2020. In Unlock 1, all activities to be relaxed in phased manner outside containment zones, as per Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines. States may impose restrictions/prohibit activities as per assessment.

 

Tomorrow is the last day of the fourth phase of lockdown implemented in the country to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection. The fourth lockdown was imposed from 18 May to 31 May. Earlier, lockdowns were announced from 25 March to 14 April, 15 April to 3 May and from 4 May to 17 May.

 

Home Minister Amit Shah met PM Modi: Significantly, before the announcement of Lockdown-5, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. According to sources, many important issues including lockdown were discussed in this meeting. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister met again for about an hour today. Earlier on Friday also, there was a meeting between the two leaders for about two hours.

 

Coronavirus statistics in the country: The deadly Coronavirus outbreak is increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, 265 people have died, which is the largest number of deaths in a day. At the same time, the maximum 7964 new cases have also been reported in the last one day. Not only this, but 11264 people have also been discharged from hospitals in one day. According to the latest data of the Health Ministry, so far one lakh 73 thousand 763 cases have been reported. At the same time, 4971 people have died. 82 thousand 370 people have also recovered.
