Buffalo Attacks People On Bike In Pune’s Camp Area, 4 Persons Injured; Police Register FIR
Camp, 26 August 2021: Raising the question of whether the city roads are safe for travel or not after a buffalo attacked a couple who were riding their two-wheeler in the Camp area of Pune city. Police have registered FIR against three owners of the buffaloes.
Zuber Shaikh, who had his wife as a pillion rider, was riding the vehicle when suddenly a buffalo attacked the couple. They sustained injuries in this attack. The incident which took place around 4 pm on August 8, has been captured by CCTV camera of a shop situated in the area.
Fortunately, the couple was saved from serious injuries. The owners of the cattle could not control the buffalo who injured the couple and also attacked another vehicle parked there.
A herd of buffalo was going through Jan Mohammad street when suddenly a buffalo attacked the people.
Based on the complaint from Shaikh, an FIR has been registered by Lashkar police station against Shanawaz Abdul Razzak Qureshi, Sadakat Qureshi and Nadfat Qureshi. They have been booked for negligence.
