Bullock Cart Becomes Symbol of Protest: PCMC Residents Back Manoj Jarange Patil’s Maratha Reservation Campaign

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 24th January 2024: In a distinctive display of support for the Maratha reservation cause, activist Manoj Jarange Patil is set to make a symbolic entry on a bullock cart. Currently, en route to Mumbai to raise his voice for Maratha reservations, Patil’s unconventional mode of transport has garnered attention.

Residents of PCMC have come together to embellish the bullock cart to show their support for the activist and eagerly await his arrival. The cart, adorned with symbols of the Maratha community, stands as a collective expression of solidarity with Patil’s cause.

Sandeep Walhekar, the owner of the bullock cart, expressed, “We have arranged this special bullock cart and decorated it to demonstrate our unwavering support for activist Manoj Jarange Patil. Our sole intention is to advocate for reservations for all Marathas. Jarange Patil will board the bullock cart from Talegaon Chowk and continue his journey until Vadgoan Chowk.”
