Pune: Manoj Jarange Patil Receives Grand Welcome from Republican Party, Presented with Dr Ambedkar’s Portrait and Buddha Idol

Yerwada, 24th January 2024: Manoj Jarange Patil, leader of the Maratha Reservation Foot March, was accorded a warm welcome by Dr. Siddharth Dhende, former Deputy Mayor of Pune City, on behalf of the Republican Party of India (Athawale). In a symbolic gesture of support, Jarange was presented with a portrait of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and an idol of Lord Gautam Buddha.

Dr Dhende, expressing support for Jarange’s movement, honoured him with significant gifts. The welcoming event included announcements of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, with greetings extended to all activists involved in the Maratha reservation movement.

As a gesture of hospitality, water and snacks were distributed to participants, creating a festive atmosphere. The occasion witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Balasaheb Janrao, Regional Secretary of RPI, Sanjay Sonwane, President of Pune RPI, Nilesh Alhat, Sham Sadaphule, Razzak Sheikh, Mushtaq Sheikh, Sushil Sarvagod, Vijay Kamble, Gajanan Jagde, Chandrakant Chavan, Sanjay Waikar, Vinod More, Pratap Dhumal, Anwar Desai, Mangala Ghamre, Meena Pandey, and Sangita Francis. Republican Party activists, along with a substantial gathering of women and youth from Pune city, participated enthusiastically in the grand welcome event.
