Buying Home In PCMC, PMRDA Area To Cost More As Pune District See Highest Increase In Maharashtra Ready Reckoner Rate

Pune, 1st April 2022: The Department of Registration and Stamps, Maharashtra State, yesterday released the ready reckoner for this financial year 2022-23. The new rates have come into effect today.

Shravan Hardikar, Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, said that a general increase has been proposed based on information available in rural areas on the basis of purchase, sales trends, development in the area, advertisements for the sale of land, real estate, information on website, etc.

The influential zones have increased by 3.90 per cent, the average growth in old parts of Pune city is 6.12 per cent, while 23 villages included in Pune municipal corporation (PMC) have increased by 10.15 per cent, while Pimpri Chinchwad city has increased by 12.36 per cent. In rural areas, the RR rate has gone up by 11.3%.

On average, the RR rates for the Pune district have gone up by 8.5%.

He said the highest increase was in Malegaon at 13.12 per cent, followed by Aurangabad at 12.38 per cent and Chandrapur at 2.45 per cent.
