Pune: 4 Persons Injured In Fire At Godown In Nana Peth

Nana Peth, 1st April 2022: A massive fire broke out in a warehouse of pavilion material at Quarter Gate Chowk area in Nana Peth around Thursday midnight. The pavilion material was burnt in the fire.

Upon learning of the incident, the fire brigade arrived at the spot with six vehicles. Bamboo, curtains, decorative materials caught fire. Jawans tried to douse the fire with water. The fire was contained within half an hour.

One person sustained burn injuries on his hands and feet and he has been admitted to Sassoon Hospital, Pune. Another person has a head injury.

Fire Officer Prabhakar Umratkar and fireman Sudhir Navale suffered injuries on their legs.
