Cancel Bogus Hawker Survey: Members Demand At Hawker Committee Meeting In Pimpri
Pimpri, 20th December 2022: Today’s meeting of the City Hawker Committee of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation took place in the Standing Committee Halls.
At this point, the member of the municipal council objected to concerns regarding the incorrectly conducted survey. Everyone raised a demand in the hall to cancel the names of bogus and non-business experts.
Additional Commissioner Jitendra Wagh, Shital Wakade, Commissioner Prashant Joshi, Sitaram Bahure, Anna Bodde, Keshav Kumar Thorat, Rajesh Agle, Suchita Pansare, President of the Maharashtra Feriwala Kranti Federation Kashinath Nakhate, Rajendra Vakchoure, Kavita Kharade, Santosh Jadhav, Prahlad Kamble, B. G. Kamble, Ramesh Shinde, Farid Sheikh, Dr Saroj Ambike, B.K. Kamble and other additional members were there.
The administration and all the officers have no control over the agency to which the hawker survey is assigned. It was important to take the officials and staff alongside them, complete this survey, and give their stamp and affirmation on the receipt. The survey is being carried out by taking pictures and illegally stopping on bogus steps and handcarts.
As a result, more bogus individuals are recruited to boost numbers while beneficiaries are left aside. Together with Kashinath Nakhate, the members demanded that this bogus survey be cancelled and its legal benefits distributed to the actual beneficiaries. Additionally, a delivery receipt should be provided with the field officer’s signature.
Since the contractor has the receipt, financial extortion is taking place. Jitendra Wagh stated that the officers should verify the people who have been surveyed and that the administration will decide to stand regarding the cancellation of those who have objections.
