Car Catches Fire On Pune-Mumbai Route, Heavy Traffic Jam Reported
Pune 15th July 2023: A car caught fire near Punawale on the Pune-Mumbai Highway earlier on Saturday. According to reports, the incident took place when the car was moving towards Mumbai from Pune.
This led to heavy traffic jam on the road for sometime. The traffic police and fire brigade team of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) rushed to the spot. The fire was brought under control and the car was removed from road to smoothen the traffic movement.
No injuries or casualty was reported in the incident, said officials.
